It was a pleasure to welcome St. James' Primary Academy into Church last week and host the Key Stage 1 and 2 Harvest Festivals, on the 28th and 29th October. It was also good to see some of the parents able to attend, to whom our Churchwardens and Social Team provided refreshments beforehand.
Mr. Brown presided and was accompanied by our organist, Barry Hall, and the children brought their gifts of food in support of Bournemouth Foodbank, up to the altar.
The combined gifts from the St. James' Primary Academy and the Church congregation from the Sunday Harvest Festival service resulted in 346kg of food being donated to the Bournemouth Foodbank, equating to the provision of 989 meals!!
