Sue Quinn and Barry Hall arranged a 'Musical Extravaganza' for the Saturday 14th May just before Christian Aid Week.
It included Barry playing light classical or popular pieces on the organ, including '633 Squadron' and 'Bring Him Home' from 'Les Mis'. Then Community hymn singing with requests, followed by a splendid cover band led by Sue called 'Gintinker', a flute/piano duo (Sue and Barry) including some songs from the shows and Simon and Garfunkle favourites.
Finally, the day was rounded off by a wonderful hour presented by the folk band 'Purbeck Storm'. Those who came along thoroughly enjoyed the music, singing and refreshments.
Many commented how it was such a shame more people didn't turn up, even for an hour.
